Nay—other than those, only the Ashitaka Pasture in today’s Shizuoka Prefecture existed. The shogunate’s pastures were mostly concentrated in what is now Chiba Prefecture.

PERSPECTIVE OF VISITORS. CHIBA IS AN UNFAMILIAR PLACE FOR KURA, BUT BY INTERACTING WITH PEOPLE THROUGH HER ART-MAKING, SHE DISCOVERED "A LAID-BACK ATMOSPHERE AND STABILITY AMONG PEOPLE WITH A UNIQUE LOCALITY." HER WORKS TAKEN IN THE CITY VISUALIZE THE EXISTENCE OF THOSE WITH DIVERSE CULTURAL BACKGROUNDS WHO LIVE THERE, AND THE IDENTITY OF THE CITY EMERGES THROUGH THESE PEOPLE. FURTHERMORE, THESE WORKS, PRODUCED BETWEEN 2020 AND 2021, INEVITABLY REFLECT THE CURRENT STATE OF A CITY AFFECTED BY COVID-19. THE PORTRAITS ARE EXPRESSED VIA BLACK-AND-WHITE PHOTOGRAPHY, THE STANDARD FORMAT OF THE PHOTOGRAPHER'S EARLY WORKS.

exciting to watch because Irish people are very proud of their counties (like prefectures in Japan), and making the county team is a huge honour. The atmosphere at a hurling match is very exciting, due to a combination of such a high-paced game and the enthusiasm of the supporters. There are fifteen players on each team and a hurley and sliotar are necessary to play. A hurley is a stick made from an ash tree. It isn’t too heavy and the hurley’s height is made in line with the player’s height. The ball used in

オーウェン」 アイルランド,CIR,加曾利貝塚,ブログ Dia dhuit! This is Katie, the CIR for Chiba City. In June I finally got to visit the Kasori Shell Mounds site in Chiba City. While I was there, I was so surprised by how similar it is to a place in Ireland called “Craggaunowen”. Craggaunowen is a reconstruction of ancient dwelling places from the late Bronze to the early Iron Age. In this blog, I would like to introduce Craggaunowen and some symbols of ancient Celtic culture. Dia dhuit!

Another legend suggests that when a group of English invaders were approaching the village of Killorglin, a wild mountain goat noticed and left his herd to go and warn the villagers, who were then able to protect their village and fight off the pillagers. There is even a ballad about how this legendary goat protected the village. Click here (外部サイトへリンク)(別ウインドウで開く)to listen. なざヤギなのか? 一説によると、「雄ヤ
