-15th century attributed to Munetane (currently a Chiba City Cultural Relic); beside it was an aged pine tree known as the gobyo no matsu (“shrine pine tree”). In the year 1945 the temple was burned down because of bombings during the war, and, after the war it was transferred along with the five-tiered gravestone to its current location in Benten, Chuo Ward. Munetane is known for being the ancestor of the Hizen Chiba Clan. His father, Yoritane, fought against the Mongolian army during the Mongolian Invasion, and succumbed to his wounds from that battle in the year 1275.
