Period, remains of pit dwellings from the Kofun Period, as well as nine ancient burial mounds, two of which are still preserved today in Higashiterayama Park No.2. Straight swords with silver inlays on the guard and iron arrowheads were excavated from the burial mounds, indicating that this was the base of a powerful clan.
